Recently I’ve been trying something little different to add to my style of photography. I wanted to add a little to my photos by using some textures which is slowly becoming more and more popular in wedding photography. Textures, when tastefully applied to wedding photos, can affectively enhance the original photograph. Here’s an example on a recent wedding:

Would love to hear what you think.

Happy new year!

  • bailie: Rod, I used freely available textures on the internet and applied them on photos via PS. There's a photographer in the US who's selling textures which I suppose will also work but everyone else will have the same textures as yours.
  • Rod Pascoe: So how did you do that then? Was it a pre-purchased filter or did you do it yourself? Rod
  • bailie: Hey Kev, thanks for dropping by..did you have a good x'mas?
  • Big Kev: Wow..this is great shot. It's been a while since I drop by but you work is still amazing. Never fail to disappoint me. Keep it up..
  • Tanya S: Nice shot, Bailie! It could easily be a photo from decades ago... reminds me of looking at my grandparent's album.
