Nick and Viv - Engagement

Sunday, March 21, 2010

Every now and then, you come across people who you know can be your best friends but because you live a world apart, you never really get to develop that friendship. Until of course, you see each other again in those rare occasions and it feels like you have so much to talk about and it was like yesterday when you last saw them. Nick is certainly one of those people in my life. We share a lot in common interest like sport, photography, lifestyle, travel…. and we’ve known each other for more than 10 years.

When Nick told me that he’s getting married, and wanted me to do an engagement session for him, I was probably more excited than he was. I knew straight away that it was going to be awesome. I generally don’t do engagement sessions if I’m not doing their wedding but Nick and Viv are certainly an exception. They are just such a lovely couple.

We started out at the Rocks market:

We stopped by Vanto to do what Viv loves doing so much it’s become a must every weekend.

It was 5 o’clock in the afternoon and it was still like 30C but nothing is going to stop us from having some fun.

With all the rain and storm in Sydney for the past few weeks, it’s a rare find for a beautiful sunset for photos. But I can tell you, we had the best light ever. It was certainly god’s creation. We literally had only seconds to get these shots. The light was changing every second.

Did I mention we had the best light?

Have an awesome wedding and congratulations on your engagement!!!
