Merry Christmas
Posted on December 31, 2007
Weddings are always at a stand still between mid-Dec and mid-Jan and it’s always a great time for me to relax and put up some christmas decorations. This year, I decided to create an enchanted tree look from fallen branches I picked up from a nearby park. All I did was painted them white and hanged some ornaments on them. The result was a lot better than I expected:

2007 has been another very busy year and 2008 looks to be even busier! Congratulations to all newly-weds and I look forward to photographing more weddings next year.
Have a merry christmas!

Lisan and Paul - Wedding
Posted on December 15, 2007
I had the best time photographing Lisan and Paul’s very unique wedding. The wedding was held at a Victorian style boutique hotel with little more than 30 guests. Such intimate wedding has always been my dream wedding. I just loved the blend of western and oriental wedding traditions. And the bride and groom was certainly the most down to earth couple I’ve ever met.
Heading out to another wedding now but here’s a couple of my favourite photos for now - stay tuned for more.

Ready to go! I love the chinese traditional dress - it deserves a rusty old look to the scene.

Tea ceremony to the inlaws:

more to come…

Kristin

Kristin is an amazing musician. She plays drums and guitar and has such a beautiful voice that I think she’d easily win the Australian Idol. Before returning to Canada, she wanted a photo portfolio featuring her music and personality and I think we did just that. Here’s some of my favourite with the new blog layout.

new blog
Posted on December 1, 2007
I love keeping up with technology but I also like to do-it-yourself when in comes to my website design which is why I haven’t changed my website since day 1 - I’ve either been too busy or just too lazy! And that’s probably also why my blog started with absolutely no design - just a white background.
But today, almost exactly one year since I started blogging wedding shoots, marks a very special day for my blog. I have a new design!!! Another do-it-yourself design and I’m very proud of it. I’ll be posting a very special photo shoot tomorrow with a completely new layout. Stay tuned.
